Another Wednesday

Hi All -

Here it is Wednesday again and I've got a couple more flowers done. My hubby has finished his PT - that's good and bad. The good is that he's done, but the bad is that I won't have an hour twice a week to just sit and work on my hexies. I'll just have to find time somewhere else in my day :o) Sounds like a good excuse to sit and put my feet up, don't you think!! Anyway, here are my additions - oops, that second one is a little blurry - too much iced coffee this morning!!

With the hot weather here, the pups are always looking for a cool place to stay. Hamish has excavated a big hole under the barberry bushes in the back yard and that's where he loves to be. It's hard to get him out from there - even in the hottest part of the day. His brother, on the other hand, likes to sleep in front of the fan inside in the air conditioning. Who is the smartest? I think I'd vote for Duncan, but I guess Hamish has his reasons for preferring the outdoors. Funny pup!!

Lovely flowers! I feel sorry for the poor hairy creatures now. Fortunately is it cooling a little here in the Netherlands. We'll be getting a drop in temperature the coming days. We really need that!

Hi Judie,

The flowers are coming along beautifully. And I agree, just keep your appointment time and sit down and stitch.

I came over to view your blog after you left a comment on mine. I see you are doing the hexagon flowers. I have wanted to do a hexagon design for ages. I have the hex papers but just can't find time. Too many other quilting projects in the works.

You have beautiful dogs!

Your flowers are lovely, the floral around the outer sets them off beautifully. Good luck with finding some stitching time in sometime during the week!
