Happy Fall

Hi All,

It's been a while since I've posted - don't know where the time goes. Guess that's a sign of aging :o) Anyway, I'm showing a photo of a new GFG flower to add to my quilt. My friends and I have also organized a GFG Quilters group which will meet monthly to get together and work on our Grandmother's Flower Garden quilts and also inspire others to try one. Our first meeting is on Monday night and I'm looking forward to it. I'll try and take some photos to share.

Today is going to be in the 80's - not what you would expect for the first day of Fall. But the weekend is supposed to be cool - I'm more than ready for it!!!

Have a great day and keep smiling -

I know what you mean - I am getting so involved in other tasks, especially canning, and need to do a bit of Fall cleaning too.

Your flower is beautiful! Such a great idea for a GFG group. That should be fun. Friday is going to reach 90 here, then drop really low on Saturday. I sure hope they are wrong about Friday!

Hi Judie,
We use to have a weekly sit and stitch that I went to for a couple of years until my hands just wouldn't let me sew by hand any more. We all started making Grandmothers flower garden blocks and one of the ladies made a small wall hanging and gave it to the center we met at. It turned out real pretty.
I love feeding the coons. It has grown up so much in the last 25 years out here they don't have the room to make a living for them seives so I feel like I need to help. I feed possum and fox too.
Us humans don't give the wild animals enough credit.
Thanks so much for you visit!!
