Glorious Spring

Hi All -
Spring is in the air in central PA and I LOVE IT!!! The bluebirds are back and are checking out the nesting boxes and the mockingbirds are giving us their wonderful concert. This year we have some wild gray bunnies - I've never seen gray ones before, only brown. Wonder if someone let a domesticated one go??? It will be interesting to see what kind of babies they have - but they better stay out of my garden!!
Duncan and Hamish have been spending lots of time outdoors enjoying the sun and I like to do that too - any excuse - a good book, cleaning up the garden, putting up some puppy-proof (I hope) fencing, etc., etc. My quilting is suffering because I want to be outside - darn. Looks like we'll be getting rain at the end of the week, so maybe then I'll get downstairs to the quilting room.
My brother and sister-in-law have found a house and will be closing on it at the end of the month. It is beautiful and is tucked into the mountainside - also has five acres of wooded land with it. They'll be about 40 minutes from us - we're really excited!!
Got to run now - hubby has PT this morning and I'm his chauffeur. I'll get some more of my grandmother's flower garden done while waiting for him to finish.
Take care and keep smiling -

Rocky Creek Scotties and Rocky Creek Ramblings said...

Hi,

Thanks for coming by to visit us and introducing yourself. I see we have at least two things in common - quilts and Scotties. I have been quilting off and on for 50 years - sounds scary when I see it in print. My grandmother had me quilting as soon as I could reach over the frames. And as for Scotties - I love them and breeding is a dream come true for me - what a blessing they are in my life.

Have a great day and I hope you visit often.

Lynn
