I'm Back

Hi Everyone -
Sorry for the long hiatus - can't believe how fast the time has gone. Since I last posted, I attended a couple of Civil War balls, celebrated Thanksgiving at my brother & sis-in law's house, played my trombone in four Christmas concerts, etc., etc. We were supposed to go to our daughter's for Christmas, but ended up staying home since hubby was feeling awful - his back was really bothering him and he ended up having surgery #5 in January. He had his L1-2 vertebrae fused with rods and is now recovering at home. My spare time is still pretty limited since I now can add nursemaid to my agenda. Also new is I'm learning to play the fife and hope to eventually join the 11th Pennsylvania Fife & Drum Corps - but, I've got a long way to go. This fife thingy is harder to play than I anticipated. With practice, I should improve!!
